ProLogic Publishes New Paper on the Roles of Marketing and Accounting in Digital Coupon Programs

ProLogic has published a new Retailer Advisory entitled "Digital Coupons: Closing the Loop Between Marketing and Accounting." This paper discusses the importance of communication between a retailer’s marketing and accounting departments around the planning and implementation of digital coupon programs. Frequently, these departments operate in isolation, resulting in a suboptimal model for digital coupon clearing and receivables management.

Last Chance to Take JICC Industry Surveys
Only a few days remain to participate in the Joint Industry Coupon Committee's (JICC) surveys. These two brief surveys seek retailer’s input on their readiness for the GS1 DataBar barcode and their interest in revising the industry reason codes, which are used by manufacturers to explain their justification for denying payment of coupons.

ACP Releases More Information on Coupon 101/102 Classes

The Association of Coupon Professionals (ACP) has released the dates, times and locations for their Coupon 101/102 training classes for this fall. Registration will be open soon on the ACP’s website.
