COUPON VOLUME GROWING IN 2011
Mid-year industry data on coupon redemption volumes indicates positive growth for 2011 year-to-date. ProLogic's total volume is up 4% over the first half of 2010, while published industry reports indicate a 2.9% year-over-year increase in redemption volume for the industry. The growth in coupon redemptions can be attributed to the lingering difficult economic conditions and consumers' strong desire for savings, even in light of lower coupon distribution, which decreased by 6% compared to the same period last year.
